More events before and after This scholarly conference will be preceded by a two-day celebration of the Catholic Legacies in Victoria, focusing on the Seghers Collections on permanent loan in the Mearns Centre for Learning/McPherson Libraries and on the community work of the Sisters of St Ann. It will end with the Annual Congress of the Canadian Federation for Social Sciences and Humanities, held at the University of Victoria 1-10 June 2013. An exhibition of the Seghers Collection will be held in the Special Collections. |

| Unfortunately, in spite of an extension of the deadline, we could not attract enough submissions for a full-fledged conference. Thanks to the hospitality of the Canadian Society for Renaissance Studies/ Société Canadienne d'Études de la Renaissance, we will organize in lieu of a conference a special panel : on June 1, 2013, during the annual congress of the Canadian Federation for Humanities, in Victoria next year (http://fedcan.ca/en ). |
